The Chief Operating Officer leads the organization's global operations and supply chain functions including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, imports, logistics, warehouse and distribution, vendor relationships and sales operations, The role will develop and lead the execution of strategies for these functions across all categories of our business to achieve short and long-term financial goals (sales, margin, profitability).
As a leader in our organization, this individual will play a key role in driving the company culture through a client-first mind-set, fostering cross-functional team collaboration, developing operations, and supply chain talent, and supporting the continuous evolution of business processes to maximize resources. This position will report directly to the CEO and be part of Executive Leadership Team. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and enjoys leading and building teams, implementing processes, winning new clients / projects, developing product-line competencies, and growing and scaling the overall business.

- Assist the CEO, Chief Sales Officer, and the CFO in developing and overseeing the long-term business strategies of the Company.
- Develop, in collaboration with the CEO and the CFO an annual operating budget plan that supports the Company's long-term operations and supply chain strategies.
- Collaborates with the cross-functional leadership team to drive and achieve the company's strategic objectives and financial metrics.
- Direct factory and importing excellence to develop great product lines that maximize margins.
Data Driven Client Experience
Drive analytics and data utilization to guide Supply Chain, Purchasing, Merchandising, Pricing and Sales Operations decision making across all channels of business.Identifies and develops business levers that resonate with our clients and utilizes data to drive customer satisfaction (NPS), incremental sales, margin and overall growth across consumer touchpoints and channels; B2B, B2C and D2C.Oversees ongoing assessment of the product category mix including a focus on increasing SKUs productivity and rationalization of existing assortment, increasing private label, entry level bundles / kits and developing merchandising initiatives.Assess consumer data to drive pricing strategy for clients and company.Performance Driven Culture

Ensure alignment with Sales and New Business Development for category buying overseas.Drive global sourcing strategy, including identification and management of wholesaling vendor and factory relationships, contract negotiation and ideation of new products sources.Ensure factory alignment and compliance to our goals and product safety requirements.Identify supply chain / logistics delivery methods that ensure delivery timelines are met in a cost-effective manner to meet replenishment goals, drive margin improvement and client sat scores.Optimize our multiple warehouse locations and distribution teams performance to ensure inbound / outbound efficiencies, balancing the "just in time and 'just in case' needs of our clients and all related operational costs including labor.Create synergies with operational silos to maximize opportunities and establish competitive advantage with cross-functional organizational plans.Leadership Traits and Characteristics

10 years Senior level experience of Supply Chain : Warehouse and Distribution, Logistics, Merchandising, Inventory management and Procurement as well as Operations management experience.Working closely with wholesale business and its sales organizations experience preferred.Experience with effectively sourcing and managing far east factories, including social compliance, quantity control and testing protocols.High-growth operations or startup experience.Full P&L creation and ownership.Demonstrated proficiency in fiscal management, data analytics and key metrics.Understanding of all business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing in addition to Operations.Developing new and creative products / product lines.Proven experience leading merchant teams and driving cross-functional teams at an executive leadership level as well as buying of multiple category lines.Established relationships within global wholesale markets.
