CNC Lathe Operator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator in the Grand Haven, MI to join our team, focusing on automation to support and assist our current CNC automation specialist. This role is ideal for individuals with CNC operating experience who are ready to expand their skills in automation and become a reliable backup for our automation processes.

1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Pay: 18.00/hr to 20.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathes and related machinery to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret CNC codes, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
• Assist in setting up and programming CNC equipment for automation processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with the existing automation specialist to streamline production workflows.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on equipment.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of CNC operating experience (experience in CNC automation is a plus).
• Proficiency with CNC lathe operations and code reading.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from the lead automation specialist.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to automation-focused tasks.
