CNC Machinist Job Description :
2nd and 3rd Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts and components.
- Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining requirements and tolerances.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Tooling and Maintenance: Select and install appropriate tooling and make necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimize performance and accuracy. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine settings, quantities produced, and any issues encountered during the machining process.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role with a strong understanding of CNC machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct machining issues.
