Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Three Rivers, MI
Shift: 1st (6:00AM - 2:30PM)
Pay: $24/hour - $30/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation: Set up and operate Haas CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Programming: Modify and adjust CNC programs as needed to ensure optimal machine performance and part quality. Tooling: Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, ensuring efficient production and minimal waste.
Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any issues with machine performance or part quality promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and part inspections.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a focus on Haas machines.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming. Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
