We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and cutting parameters to ensure product quality.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
- Monitor production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize production processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC mill/lathe operator or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or CNC operations is a plus.
