EHS Coordinator
Location : Kalamazoo, MI
Shift : day shift
Pay : $27-$28 / hour based on experience
We are currently seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to continue our track record of health and safety operations by developing, implementing, training, and monitoring safety protocols throughout all departments.
You will drive the enhancement of a positive and proactive safety culture image through industry knowledge, a high level of communication, and awareness of safe work environments alongside leadership teams.
Job Duties :
- Model Safe working techniques
- Maintain and communicate safety policies and programs
- Help develop and implement plans to correct or prevent a loss
- Develop, distribute, log and document tailored safety trainings
- Conduct employee orientations, emergency response training and coordination of other safety programs
- Maintain a through knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date, safety library to include required SDS documents and job hazard analysis.
