HVAC Field Foreman
Location: Greater Grand Rapids area, MI

Pay: $25-$35/hour based on experience
Job Summary:
The HVAC Crew Lead is responsible for leading a team of HVAC installers and technicians on commercial and industrial projects. This role involves coordinating daily tasks, ensuring work is completed to company standards, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to train and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the installation and servicing of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Assign tasks to crew members and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Train and mentor technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment handling.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure job progress and address any issues.
- Perform quality control checks on completed work and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, materials used, and any challenges encountered.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems during installation and service.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC installation and service.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an HVAC role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- EPA 608 Certification (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
