Talent Strategy is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our team as Quality Inspector in the Middleville, MI area. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment we want to hear from you!
Shift Availability:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (2 positions available)
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (2 positions available)
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed quality inspections on products, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report defects or inconsistencies in materials, workmanship, and final products.
- Utilize measuring tools, gauges, and other equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Communicate effectively with production teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, documentation, and reports for quality audits.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects with precision.
- Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
