Injection Molding Process Technician
Shift: 2nd shift
Location: Byron Center, MI
Pay: $25-$28/hour
Contract-to-hire
Qualifications:

- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Strong analytical and communication skills with proven ability to work within the framework of the Team
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic atmosphere

- Manufacturing: 4 years (Required)
- Injection Mold Process Technician: 4 years (Required)
Responsibilities:
- This Process Technician will be an individual who produces quality molded products to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction
- Perform mold and material changes as required
- Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to ensure part conformity and quality
- Monitor and prepare support equipment as needed
- Perform machine start-up, shut down and processing changes
- Perform process set-up on various types of molding machines
- Communicate with the quality department on all non-conforming parts and improvement suggestions on process control
- Ensure machine cycle times and set-up parameters are accurate
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assures housekeeping standards are met
- Maintain shift process logs
- Troubleshoot processing problems
