What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Talent Strategy?
Material Handler
Pay: $16/hr
Shift: 2nd (03:00 pm – 11:30 pm)
Job Responsibilities:
- Catching Parts: Safely and efficiently catch parts from the production line, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
- Packing Parts: Inspect and pack finished parts into designated containers, ensuring proper labeling and counts are accurate.
- Quality Assurance: Perform visual inspections of parts to identify defects or irregularities and report any quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaboration: Work as part of a team to meet production goals and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Required Work Experience & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.
