Job Summary
· This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
· The Product Engineering Manager leads the development and optimization of bearing products to meet performance, durability, and application[1]specific requirements.
· This role involves overseeing the engineering team, collaborating with cross[1]functional departments, and ensuring products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Manage and mentor a team of engineers specializing in bearing development.
· Oversees preparation of detailed drawings of all manufactured components.
· Reviews product for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and related specifications.
· Delegating engineering tasks to engineering team and help when needed.
· Oversee analysis, prototyping, and testing to ensure product performance, reliability, and longevity.
· Conduct final reviews of completed projects and coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure proper closure and submission.
· Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of engineering tools to support operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and provide guidance and solutions on the engineering of bearings when necessary, including identifying symptoms of bearing failure, examine common causes of failure, perform diagnostics, reviewing load and speed requirements, ensuring proper lubrication, and evaluating materials.
· Confers with sales, plant manager and other engineers and prepares modifications as required based on customer requirements or for manufacturing improvement.
· Stay informed about advancements in materials, lubrication technologies, and bearing applications.
· Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
· Maintains current and historic engineering files.
· Processes and finalizes all engineering change orders.
Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
· 4 years of experience in the bearing or related industries, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in bearing design principles, load analysis, and manufacturing techniques.
Skills
· Expertise in CAD and analysis tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, ANSYS, or similar).
· Knowledge of bearing materials, lubrication systems, and failure analysis.
· Strong project management skills with experience in tools like Monday.com.
· Excellent math skills, including advanced geometry, calculus and physics.
· Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and customer interaction skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
· Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
· Creative thinking and innovation.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Strong analytical skills and familiarity with FEA tools.
· Experience in Metallurgy.
