Job Title: Shop Laborer/Manual Lathe Operator

Shift: 1st

Pay: $15-17/hr.

Job Description:

• Supports primary machine operators by performing supplementary tasks to ensure efficient production.
• Preparing raw materials for machining processes, which may involve cutting, grinding, or deburring
• Operating secondary machines such as drills, grinders, or polishers to finish or modify parts according to specifications
• Inspecting parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards through measurements and visual checks
• Recording production and quality data, including quantities produced, scrap rates, and any issues encountered.
• Performing routine maintenance on machines and work areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a shop
• Experience with manual lathes preferred
