We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our IT Core Operations team. This role is essential for managing core system administration and overseeing the Data Center infrastructure to ensure continuous operations and system availability. The position also involves coordinating disaster recovery, business continuity efforts, and outsourced projects, alongside system setup and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain hardware and operating systems for both production and backup systems.
- Oversee setup and integration of single physical or virtual servers, ensuring proper core system functionality.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for server administration, covering AIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Analyze and optimize data center processes, utilizing tools like Workload Automation (WLA) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Provide technical guidance on system efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in virtual environment technologies.
- Experience in server provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with batch job scheduling and business process automation.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Episys Jack Henry software applications.
- Experience with AIX, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL 4 Foundation
Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Adaptability to new technologies and evolving business requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, VBScript, and understanding of Active Directory.
- Basic programming skills.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Database Administration (DBA) expertise.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with Workload Automation (WLA) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
