What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI Research Scientist position at Talent Track Corp.?
The Artificial Intelligence team is seeking highly-productive Research Scientists to drive the
development of state-of-the-art methods in the following areas: vision-language models, robot
foundation models, long-term memory management and retrieval, and advanced reasoning and
planning. This role will focus on creating solutions tailored for home robots in the health and
wellness space, leveraging supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning techniques to
achieve impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, implement, and optimize AI solutions for deployment on-device and/or in the
cloud.
● Develop and refine pipelines for real-world data curation and synthetic data generation
to enhance model training and evaluation.
● Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, and if necessary, refine algorithms
to improve accuracy and safety.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI development with broader product
objectives.
● Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI, proactively integrating state-of-the-art
research and methodologies into the development process.
Qualifications
● PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field;
or a Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant industry or academic research
experience.
● Demonstrated success in advancing the field of AI, with a proven track record of patents
or publications in top-tier, peer-reviewed conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or
journals.
● Extensive hands-on research experience in Generative AI, with expertise in areas such
as Video Understanding and Generation, Reinforcement Learning with Human
Feedback, Direct Preference Optimization, Imitation Learning, Online and Offline
Reinforcement Learning, Vision-Language-Action Models, Diffusion Models, World
Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Chain-of-Thought Reasoning, and
Neural-Symbolic Reasoning.
● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C , with a solid
understanding of AI/ML frameworks and tools.
