Position Summary
The Executive Housekeeper will oversee all housekeeping operations across multiple high-end residential properties. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership abilities, and extensive experience in luxury household management. The ideal candidate will maintain immaculate standards while supervising housekeeping staff, managing schedules, and ensuring all properties meet the principal's exacting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping Leadership
- Supervise, train, and coordinate housekeeping staff across multiple properties
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning protocols for luxury residences
- Create and maintain detailed housekeeping schedules, checklists, and staff training manuals
- Luxury Property Maintenance
- Oversee proper care and cleaning of fine furnishings, artwork, antiques, and specialty surfaces
- Manage inventory of household cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities
- Coordinate with vendors and specialists for specialized cleaning and maintenance needs
- Event Support
- Prepare residences for private events and high-profile gatherings
- Manage setup, service, and cleanup for entertainment spaces
- Ensure guest accommodations meet luxury hospitality standards
- Administrative Management
- Track housekeeping expenses and manage department budget
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and property maintenance
- Coordinate with Estate Manager on household staffing needs and performance
- Service Excellence
- Anticipate family and guest needs to deliver seamless service
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Implement innovative solutions to improve household operations
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in luxury residential housekeeping management, high-end hospitality, or estate management
- Proven experience supervising housekeeping staff
- Background in luxury environments (private estates, boutique hotels, or high-end residential)
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge of cleaning techniques for luxury materials and surfaces
- Understanding of proper care for fine art, antiques, and high-value possessions
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with household management software
- Basic knowledge of smart home systems preferred (e.g., Lutron)

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 annually ($38-$41/hour)
