Payroll Specialist

• Ensure all payroll transactions are executed in line with both company guidelines and industry regulations.
• Calculate and oversee the distribution of regular earnings, overtime, bonuses, and other special compensations.
• Manage and verify tax deductions along with additional withholdings.
• Stay updated on the latest payroll legislation and benefit management practices.
• Handle payroll modifications such as retroactive payments, leave payouts, and other adjustments.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies, maintaining accurate payroll documentation.
• Address payroll-related questions and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Possess 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a strong command of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
• Solid understanding of payroll calculations, including overtime and shift differentials.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain precise payroll records and generate comprehensive reports.
• Capable of troubleshooting payroll issues using established procedures.
• Effective communicator, adept at explaining payroll processes and resolving queries.
