- Ensure all payroll transactions are executed in line with both company guidelines and industry regulations.
- Calculate and oversee the distribution of regular earnings, overtime, bonuses, and other special compensations.
- Manage and verify tax deductions along with additional withholdings.
- Stay updated on the latest payroll legislation and benefit management practices.
- Handle payroll modifications such as retroactive payments, leave payouts, and other adjustments.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies, maintaining accurate payroll documentation.
- Address payroll-related questions and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a strong command of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
- Solid understanding of payroll calculations, including overtime and shift differentials.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain precise payroll records and generate comprehensive reports.
- Capable of troubleshooting payroll issues using established procedures.
- Effective communicator, adept at explaining payroll processes and resolving queries.
