Position Overview :
Join our client's dynamic team as a skilled Post Production Network Engineer. You will be pivotal in ensuring seamless connectivity, performance, and reliability of post-production systems and infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the technological backbone of global multimedia and entertainment operations.
Must Haves :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in network engineering, focusing on post-production, broadcast, or multimedia environments
- Strong knowledge of video production systems, including video servers, storage solutions, editing workstations, and streaming technologies
- Proficiency in networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations (e.g., TCP / IP, BGP, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP)
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with video over IP technologies (e.g., NDI, SMPTE 2110) and industry-standard post-production tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules
