Senior Project Manager

Overview: The ideal Senior Project Manager will have broad experience in land development to support the company.

Areas of Contribution & Core Responsibilities:

• Act as the firm’s representative in client meetings to define the Scope of Work, prepare fee estimates, conduct site assessments, establish project timelines, and develop and finalize proposals.
• Drive the profitability of the profit center by overseeing team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance.
• Engage in regional and company decision-making and growth strategies through regular meetings, promoting company values and providing positive leadership.
• Hold a PE license and oversee up to two Project Managers while directly supervising up to four non-supervisory staff members.
• Support business development efforts for potential clients.
• Oversee the preparation of plans, technical reports, cost estimates, and other deliverables for clients.
• Monitor project budgets, issue billing instructions and change order requests, prepare invoices, and negotiate and finalize back charges.
• Other duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong leadership and high accountability for operational excellence.
• Client satisfaction and revenue generating relationships.
• Contribute to region and company decision making and growth planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management and team management/mentorship.
• Advanced problem solving, decision-making, communication and team building skills.
• Experience working with survey mapping, stormwater management, grading, roadways, and similar projects. 

Compensation: Estimated annual compensation range: $145,000 -$175,000 based on skills and experience. 

On-site in-office: Ontario, CA
