My client, a fast growing Fintech startup in NYC, is looking to add to their sales team. They work with businesses, from early stage to public companies, to help them manage cash flow, optimize spending and automate financial operations.
About the Role
As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll be an essential part of the sales team, focusing on lead generation, client engagement, and supporting senior sales representatives. This role is designed as a fast-track opportunity, with a clear path to becoming a full Account Executive in under a year.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in fintech sales, working closely with senior team members to drive new business and strengthen client relationships. From prospecting and outreach to attending industry events and learning to position our financial solutions, this role provides the foundation for a successful career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Support senior Account Executives in sales processes and deal execution
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to connect with potential clients
- Clearly articulate the company's value proposition to prospective customers
- Maintain accurate client and prospect data in the CRM system
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to stay informed on new features and offerings
- Contribute to refining sales strategies and tactics for market expansion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment
