Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. This role is ideal for a strong nursing leader with a background in behavioral health and psychiatric care who is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the nursing team in delivering patient-centered psychiatric care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
- Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary teams
- Oversee patient care, treatment planning, and staff training
Qualifications:
- BSN required (postgraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred)
- Active RN license in Washington State
- CPR & Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of hire
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, and nursing leadership preferred
