About the Role:

We are seeking a mission-driven Medical Director to lead an innovative, outcomes-focused care model in Athens, GA. This position combines clinical excellence with strategic leadership in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty, and a strong passion for care coordination, population health, and value-based care.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide clinical oversight and strategic leadership to multidisciplinary care teams
• Optimize care delivery across primary, specialty, and hospital systems
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics
• Facilitate case reviews, team meetings, and protocol development
• Act as a key liaison with payers, partners, and executive leadership

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with active Georgia medical license (or eligibility)
• Board-certified in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
• 2 years of leadership or administrative experience
• In-depth understanding of managed care and population health principles
• Excellent communication and team-building skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
