Responsibilities
The Senior Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for the leisure sales efforts for the property, as an inside sales manager.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following :
- Evaluate, solicit, and sell business as required meeting overall budgeted departmental sales and profitability.
- Follow-up on the progress of contracted business and key account performance as well as maintain assigned accounts in accordance with company standards.
- Participate in sales meetings and industry-related organizations to represent the hotel and company.
- Report activities and results on a monthly basis.
- Maintain an effective plan of correspondence and communication with all customers.
- Follow up on progress of booked business and key account performance as well as maintain assigned accounts in accordance with guidelines outlined in sales minimum operating standards.
- Execute projects to increase sales activity, volume and profit.
- Participate in sales meetings and industry related organizations to represent the hotel and company.
- Develops strong relations with all partners.
- Develop complete working knowledge of local competition.
- Develop complete working knowledge of Hotel's products and services.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Provide personalized attention and confirmations to originating requests from all Leisure segments, via phone or email.
- Develop business relationships with travel agents and high end guests enticing them to book, and return to Fontainebleau.
- Focus on specialty suites and penthouse bookings.
- Conduct site inspections and FAM trips.
