Overview
Come join our Human Resources (HR) Team as a HR Staff Assistant for Utah State University! This position will be working at the front desk of Human Resources emanating an inviting welcome to the customers via walk-in or phones. This position is part of a fantastic team, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with a one hour lunch break.
Responsibilities
General office duties to include (but not limited to) :
- Provides general information, greets and directs visitors, and answers routine inquiries.
- Processes employment verifications from multiple entities.
- Performs office duties, including answering phones, directing calls to appropriate parties, data entry, filing, appointment scheduling, and other general duties as assigned.
- Provides administrative support including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings / conferences.
- Opens and routes incoming mail and distributes to department staff.
- Composes and word-processes various standard documents and correspondence.
- Copies, scans, and / or duplicates materials as requested.
- Department Purchasing card support for the Department P-card holders. Collecting, reconciling and attaching receipts.
- Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.
- HR Building Coordinator
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Advertised Salary
Minimum $38,000; Commensurate with experience and education, plus excellent benefits
