Guaranteed Hours: - 48hr/Week

Job Summary
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting expectant mothers through the delivery process. Your expertise and care will ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby during childbirth.
Duties
- Provide care and support to women during labor and childbirth
- Monitor the progress of labor and vital signs of the mother and baby
- Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques
- Assist with medical procedures such as inductions, epidurals, and cesarean sections
- Educate new mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Experience
- Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred
- Knowledge of Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Critical Care, and Medical Imaging is beneficial
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures
- Ability to work with medical records systems effectively
- Experience in sonography or botulinum toxin treatment is a plus
