- Review medication orders for potential allergic reactions and drug interactions.
- Ensure PRN medication orders contain indications and documented.
- Provide drug information and educational programs to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals concerning medication use.
Requirements
Experience with Cerner (EHR) and Pyxis (ADM) is required, along with acute care/hospital experience. Pharmacokinetic dosing and neonatal/pediatric experience are also preferred.
