About the Job
This position requires a registered nurse with experience in outpatient dialysis. The nurse will work in a dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals who share a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the nurse should have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
The nurse will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information. The nurse will also be required to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals. The nurse must maintain knowledge of AAMI, CDC, KDOQI and Network 15 requirements for dialysis units related to water system, infection control and patient care best practices and standards. Additionally, the nurse will complete the department equipment check off list and demonstrate competency on all department equipment. Equipment competency is maintained on an ongoing, annual basis.
