About the Role
This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working in a stepdown unit with cardiac patients. The successful candidate will be required to have at least two years of experience in a similar role and must be confident in their ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
The shift pattern will be 12 hours per day, with block scheduling allowed. Weekend shifts are every other weekend, and holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate will be flexible, willing to learn, and able to adapt to changing situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit with cardiac patients
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management
- Be responsible for assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
Requirements for this role include:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Wyoming
- At least two years of experience in a stepdown or intensive care unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
