- Provides primary receptionist services with excellent customer service; receiving and directing incoming calls on a multiple line telephone system.
- Interview all patients eligible for Medicare and Medicaid benefits to ensure they understand the entitlement in Indian Health Service facilities.
- Provides information counseling and assistance services to beneficiaries concerning their health benefits as part of the Indian Health Service criteria.
- Initiates medical authorizations for services for internal and external health services for qualified Native Americans.
