OR
An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field AND four (4) years of information systems experience managing projects at an advanced level for multiple medium to large-sized projects or systems;
OR
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience managing projects at an advanced level for multiple medium to large-sized projects or systems;
OR
Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.

A Day In The Life
- Manage multiple concurrent information technology projects from beginning to end.
- Develop detailed project schedules that break down into sequenced critical path activities, including predecessors, successors, resources and durations.
- Create essential project management deliverables such as project charter, scope, risk and issue logs and project management plans.
- Track and monitor progress on tasks assigned to team members.
- Manage project risks and issues by implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that the project follows established oversight processes and procedures.
- Provide verbal and written project status reports to steering committees and leadership.
- Perform contract management duties, including writing statements of work and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule or budget by obtaining approval through established change management procedures.
- Review deliverables from team members and contractors to ensure high quality work is produced.
- Work in an office environment with hybrid work options available; may need to visit the Salem office on short notice for business needs.

- PROSCI or similar change management credential preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience organizing and leading multiple concurrent complex information technology (IT) projects that resulted in the implementation of a new system or new system functionality.
- Proven experience gathering information from multiple team members to break down essential project activities into a work breakdown structure, utilizing Microsoft Project or similar project planning tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g., emails, status reports, project documentation), including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to internal and external partners using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.
- Demonstrated experienced using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodology.
