We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Leader to oversee and optimize inventory, logistics, and demand planning for a high-growth company in logistics, manufacturing, and food production. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires precision, strategic thinking, and adaptabilitykey values that drive TalentBases success.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Leadership : Drive demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics strategy to maximize efficiency.
  • Operational Excellence : Identify gaps, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that reduce costs and increase speed .
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with procurement, operations, and finance teams to streamline workflows and improve execution .
  • Real-Time Decision Making : Adapt quickly to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, and urgent operational challenges.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management : Build strong relationships to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risks, and negotiate contracts effectively .
  • Labor & Resource Planning : Manage staffing needs based on operational volume and forecasted demand.
  • Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure full adherence to California labor laws, environmental regulations, and safety protocols .

What Were Looking For

  • Experience : 5 years in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or logistics leadership (preferably in high-volume operations).
  • Industry Expertise : Background in manufacturing, logistics, food production, or distribution preferred.
  • Leadership : Experience leading teams in high-pressure environments, with a focus on transformative agility.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in supply chain software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel or analytics tools.
  • Flexibility : Must be open to working nights, weekends, and holidays as neededsupply chain never stops.
  • Relentless Curiosity & Problem Solving : Ability to identify inefficiencies, develop strategic solutions, and drive continuous innovation.
  • Results-Driven Mindset : Track record of delivering measurable improvements in cost efficiency, productivity, and process optimization.
  • Education : Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
