Required Skills/Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager, particularly within Capital Markets Operations (Middle or Back Office).
- Strong background in data analysis and visualization.
- BA/Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- No prior experience in banking and/or financial services will be considered a deal-breaker.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships across operational areas and engage with project and technology leads.
- Process Design: Map current state processes and design new operational, risk, and control processes.
- Requirements Gathering: Perform impact assessments and produce detailed business requirements, UAT scenarios, and documentation.
- Change Management: Proactively manage scope changes and implement contingency plans as necessary.
- Reporting: Produce management reports on project status and progress, supporting the Project Manager.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Governance: Apply project governance principles, including documentation, risk identification, and reporting.
- Experience as a Project Manager at a tier 1 bank.
- Proficient in managing and presenting large data sets.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate complex analyses effectively.
- Ability to engage and influence both senior and junior team members.
- Proven capability to drive delivery of projects through effective requirements gathering and process improvement.
