Job Title: Data Systems Analyst/Engineer
Job Summary: The Data Systems Analyst/Engineer will leverage modern data technologies to support the formulation of systems scope and objectives aligned with the client organization's business plan and industry requirements. This role involves developing, creating, and implementing new database queries and reports, as well as analyzing and improving existing ones. The ideal candidate will take problem definitions, extract or create supporting data to identify root causes, and perform data analysis in a fast-paced, on-demand environment. The role may involve acting independently or as part of a project team, providing technical guidance on the business implications of applying various systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and resolve issues across the data platform, addressing development, testing, and production problems.
- Test data pipelines in staging/QA environments and assist with deploying them to production.
- Collaborate with business, product, and technical stakeholders to resolve data and report issues.
- Create and manage Incident and Change Requests related to data pipelines.
- Assist in data architecture, pipeline development, automation, and planning efforts.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical procedures and user guides.
- Uphold best practices for optimized software development and promote continuous improvement/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- 5-8 years of experience in data software development, with demonstrated application of software engineering best practices in real-world projects.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages, particularly Python and SQL.
- Strong foundation in AWS Cloud Services, including S3, Redshift Spectrum, and EC2.
- Solid understanding and experience with Gitlab, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
