Our client is looking for an HR Generalist to join their growing team! The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting Human Resources functions at their Conway, SC manufacturing facility. Working closely with the HR Manager, this role partners with leadership and employees to implement HR programs and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in managing the hourly performance evaluation process at the Pageland plant.
- Support benefits administration, including claims resolution, processing changes, invoice verification, and employee communication.
- Serve as a backup for maintaining the affirmative action program and associated documentation.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate onboarding processes.
- Provide support in employee relations, including counseling, conflict resolution, and exit interviews.
- Respond to employee concerns and complaints, including harassment and civil rights allegations.
- Represent the company in unemployment claim hearings when the HR Manager is unavailable.
- Help coordinate employee recognition and engagement programs.
- Contribute to department initiatives focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Perform additional HR duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of employment law, compensation, performance management, organizational development, safety, and training.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.

Salary : $58,000 - $75,000
