Production Supervisor
Shift: Day
Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor. This individual will be responsible for overseeing personnel, driving safety and quality standards, meeting production schedules, and ensuring continuous improvement across assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support production teams to meet or exceed safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.
- Identify and resolve daily operational issues while escalating significant challenges when necessary.
- Ensure proper training and development of team members in alignment with organizational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report outcomes to management.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to optimize output and minimize downtime.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
