Position Summary :
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the month-end close process for a newly acquired company. This includes collaborating with internal and outsourced stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate results. The position requires utilizing technical accounting expertise to ensure transactions comply with U.S. GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Month-End Close and General Ledger Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Perform monthly flux and trend analyses of financial statement data.
- Prepare journal entries and upload period results into the corporate ERP system.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, coordinating with onshore and offshore teams to address aging items and determine appropriate accounting treatments.
- Auditing and Compliance :
Support internal and external audits, as well as external reporting activities.
Review complex and unusual transactions for compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
