Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing chemical processes, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and driving innovation within our engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles, the ability to manage complex technical challenges, and the leadership skills to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Design & Optimization : Lead the design, optimization, and scaling of chemical processes, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency while maintaining high product quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting & Process Improvement : Investigate process issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve performance.
- Project Management : Manage and lead engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality control to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement. Mentor and support junior engineers and staff.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure that processes meet all safety and environmental regulations, and that safety protocols are followed at all stages of production.
- Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze process data and prepare reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), performance trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Research & Development : Lead or participate in the development of new chemical processes or products, evaluating feasibility and conducting tests to ensure viability.
- Continuous Improvement : Implement and advocate for best practices in process optimization, efficiency, and cost reduction using Six Sigma, Lean, or other methodologies.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and internal policies, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
