Senior Technical Trainer
Location: Remote with travel to various US locations
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Level Trainer to provide technical training to advisors and employees on the features and usage of software products. This role involves creating and updating training materials, conducting needs analysis, and delivering training sessions both online and in-person. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently under general supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for advisors and employees on software products and features.
- Test and update training documentation, presentation materials, and videos to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Conduct ongoing needs analysis to identify and address training requirements.
- Travel up to 3 times per month (a few days each trip) to deliver onsite training sessions with advisors at various US locations.
- Operate under general supervision while managing training schedules and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical training, communications, product support, or consulting roles.
- Detailed knowledge of technical training in a Microsoft environment, including MS Teams and Office Suite.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective technical training programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in creating engaging training materials, such as presentations and videos.
- Experience in conducting training needs analysis and adapting materials accordingly.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and delivering onsite training.
