The Employee Portal AEM is expected to have sufficient skills to begin work immediately, with Adobe Experience Manager, SQL and PS/SQL, integrate diverse technologies such as Salesforce, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Oracle database and applications, WCAG accessible web applications by using Adobe Sites, CSS, JavaScript, web services and HTML.
The Employee AEM will possess the ability - to design, develop and enhance complex web applications and portals, using the current framework functionality of Adobe Sites 6.5 on Adobe Experience Manager hosted on the Adobe Managed Services cloud platform.
- to implement and train on best practices and development standards within the AEM.
- to identify and resolve Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) issues in the AEM codebase and content.
- to write complicated and optimized SQL and PS/SQL for Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- to integrate the Solr search platform with AEM Adobe Sites including search pages with multiple search filters and criteria, indexing content, boosting result ranking, multi-language support, geographic location data, signal ranking, natural language, knowledge graph answers, extractive answers, and Large Language Models and Google BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations for Transformers).
- to integrate various and diverse technologies into a AEM web portal environment, such as Salesforce, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Oracle database and applications.
- to write System Level Documentation, which will include development, maintenance, including flow charts and detailed logic specifications using Microsoft Office Products.
- to provide on demand project reports to ensure project timelines are met and report any issues to the Project Manager.
- to train County staff in all associated skills, including AEM development following standards and best practices, WCAG accessibility standards, integration of supporting technologies, and documentation.
Experience Preferred
Five (5) years, experience within the last seven (7) years, with the current framework functionality of Adobe Sites 6.5 on Adobe Experience Manager hosted on the Adobe Managed Services cloud platform, to design, develop, new and enhanced complex web applications and portals.
Four (4) years, experience within the last six (6) years, developing WCAG accessible web applications by using Adobe Sites on the Adobe Experience Manager platform, CSS, JavaScript, web services and HTML.
Development experience should also demonstrate the ability to integrate diverse technology in an AEM web portal platform, such as Salesforce, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Oracle database and applications.
Two (2) years, experience within the last three (3) years, writing SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle and MS SQL Server.
One (1) year, experience out of the last three (3) years, Eclipse and GIT development tools.
One (1) year, experience out of the last three (3) years, creating System Level Documentation, including development, maintenance, flow charts and detailed logic specifications using Microsoft Office Products.
Education Preferred
Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Computer Sciences, or Informatics. Diplomas must be provided upon request.
