- The following are interrelated and critical to the existing application:
- Extensive experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, Visual Studio
- Extensive experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEF
Key Responsibilities
- Develop .NET WPF/WCF software used in the image acquisition and post-processing steps of biological fluorescent imaging workflows.
- Support existing code fixing defects looking for opportunities to refactor and optimize.
- Support tech debt discussions and implementation.
- Work with image acquisition systems including capture, manipulation, and optimization of image data.
- Help the team to improve the technical quality of their work through regular technical design and code reviews.
- Participate in an Agile environment contributing to the entire SDLC process.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Minimum of 3 years of Software Development experience architecting and maintaining thin/thick clients and API's
- Strong technical contributor with a proven track record of using your expertise to help the team
- Extensive experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, Visual Studio
- Extensive experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEF
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bellevue, WA
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
- Experience working with version control systems (SVN, git, github, SourceTree, etc)
- Experience working with Microsoft VisualStudio development environment
- Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks
- Demonstrates the ability to creatively find solutions
- Contributes to the team and works independently
