Position: Configuration Specialist

Location: Providence, RI (Fully Onsite)
Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans to ensure hardware components function properly.
Perform regular hardware tests including functionality, compatibility, and reliability.
Analyze and document test results, and track and verify defects.
Work closely with development and production teams to understand hardware specifications
and design testing procedures.
Report on hardware usability, functionality, and defect issues.
Participate in troubleshooting and repairing hardware systems.
Ensure hardware compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay current on the latest hardware technology and testing tools.
Collaborate with team to improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a hardware tester or similar role.
Strong knowledge of hardware testing methodologies and tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware systems.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with different hardware components and systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field or any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience.
