About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing logistics activities and ensuring the smooth delivery of development samples and clinical trial supplies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- In coordination with CDMOs (contract development and manufacturing organizations), arrange shipments between CDMO and sites, worldwide.
- Lead and manage relationships with logistics service providers.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and SOPs for import/export requirements.
- Take ownership of shipment dispatch, tracking, and delivery, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain departmental logistics sharepoint folder, including archival of shipping documentation.
- Identify areas of improvement and suggest best practices.
- Track and report on key performance indicators of logistics and service providers.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in Logistics, Transportation, Import/Export, or cold-chain Supply Chain function.
- Experience managing logistics activities in high-performing global teams.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to problem-solve and drive positive change.
- A bias toward urgency in problem-solving to support a best-in-class pharmaceutical development organization.
- Dynamic, pragmatic, and passionate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
