Our client is a leading, clinical-stage gene therapy company founded in 2001 and is commitment to developing life-saving medicines that cure genetic diseases.
The opportunity is for a Services Coordinator, Laboratory Operations to join the team in Research Triangle Park (Durham), NC. The Services Coordinator will assist in the management of equipment service and records within the clients' laboratories.
Responsibilities :
Work as planner / scheduler to maintain account of activities throughout laboratory equipment lifecycle including onboarding, calibration, maintenance and decommissioning.
Develop work Instructions for new and existing laboratory equipment in collaboration with Metrology, as needed.
Perform planning and scheduling upon receiving work orders to develop detailed schedules and plans to guide work execution.
Compile, sort, and prepare source data for database entry into CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Schedule service for laboratory equipment in coordination with outside vendors and internal staff.
Maintain a directory of vendors and resources.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct incompatibilities, and check output.
Work with lab staff to plan out delivery logistics for incoming equipment and aid engineers to re-configuring lab spaces to fit the needs of the department based on their targeted deliverables.
Train and escort third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers on site, as needed.
About you :
- BS / BA preferred.
2-5 years of administrative experience.
Prior pharmaceutical, laboratory, or facilities and engineering experience a plus.
Possess basic office skills and proficiency working with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated, organized, individual capable of working independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented and conscientious.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with teams, internally and externally.
