- This role is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security.
- This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Client's facilities.
- As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will perform general duties involved in the precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for various spaceflight systems.
- You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of engine production.
- Monday – Thursday (5:00AM – 3:30PM) - (40 hrs/wk)
- Clean and passivate hardware using means such as solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
- Safely handle hardware utilizing overhead cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment.
- Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems.
- Inspect hardware using visual, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing methods.
- Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
- Perform shop-level maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc.
- Conduct general housekeeping of CPV Lab and Certified Clean Room area.
- Follow safety regulations and wear protective eyewear, steel-toe boots, and other applicable personal protective equipment.
- Technical expertise in cleaning and passivation using various methods (solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, precision).
- Safe handling of hardware using overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
- Analytical skills for titration and direct measurement methods in lab settings.
- Inspection skills using visual methods, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing.
- Packaging skills for storage or shipment of hardware.
- Maintenance and calibration skills for shop-level equipment (pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales).
- General housekeeping skills for lab and clean room areas.
- Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
