Job Title: CT Technologist
Available Shifts:
- Nights (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 7pm-7am)
Job Summary and Qualifications
The successful candidate will perform a variety of technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation to detect pathology. They will operate the CT equipment safely, maintaining A.L.A.R.A. standards, and perform all types of procedures.
The ideal candidate is current in radiologic positioning and can perform X-rays in the ER and department as needed. They will participate in establishing scan protocols and executing specific applications, and be responsible for contrast administration.
Maintaining a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff is essential for this role. Call responsibilities are included in the position.
Required Qualifications
- One year of CT experience preferred
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred
- State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Vocational School Graduate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of employment start date
