Title : Desktop Support
Location : Travel within South Carolina, Georgia, Northeast Florida
Duration of Project : 9 months
Shift : M-F, 8 AM-5 PM, with an hour for lunch.
Sunday, if required for the site
Travel to locations : minimal, mostly regional
No overtime.

Job Description :
Perform installation, modification, repair, testing, and / or servicing on laptops, desktops, and tablets, including, but not limited to hardware, peripherals, and software configuration as well as barcode scanners. Incumbents service clients on-site in a hospital environment.
Replace user desktops, laptops, and tablets at the customer site. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up the hardware, testing it to make sure it is working, identifying system hardware problems, and following any special instructions.
Transfer the user's old files to the new device
Verify file transfer and basic software functionality with the end-user
