About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dialysis Acute Nurse Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Dialysis Acute Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute dialysis setting.
Your primary duties will include assessing patients' responses to treatment therapy, making appropriate adjustments and modifications to the treatment plan as indicated by the appropriately credentialed physician. You will also be responsible for delivering safe, effective care in a timely and efficient manner.
In addition, you will provide supervision and direction to Patient Care Technicians (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians (CCHT)) and clerical staff, and provide direction and education to ICU staff for CRRT.
You must have a strong assessment skills related to critically ill patients, BLS CPR Recognition, and ACLS CPR Recognition preferred but not required. A minimum of 2 years inpatient dialysis nursing experience is required, with at least 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last two years as a RN.
