Job Title : Facilities Technician III

Duration : 9 months
Responsibilities :
- Repair and improve building infrastructure
- Support and maintain fire protection systems
- Maintain the HVAC system in the distribution center
- Maintain and repair distribution center racking systems
- Perform metal and wood fabrications, including welding
- Repair and maintain material handling equipment
- Repair and maintain the building's pneumatic system
- Maintain automated conveyor systems
- Perform preventative maintenance, including documentation and procedures
- Track and store department inventory, including spare parts
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in the department and distribution center (DC)
Physical Demands :
Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
Lifting parts and tools weighing an average of 20 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds
Dexterity in hand / eye coordination, use of foot pedals, manual motion (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion / rotation)
Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes / odors, hot / cold temperatures, indoor / outdoor noise, vibration, standing on concrete for extended periods, and wet or uneven surfaces
