Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to work on a local contract basis in Wilmington, Delaware.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including filling prescriptions and processing medication orders.
- Operate pharmacy equipment, such as automated dispensing systems and IV pumps.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, medication dosages, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.
- Rotate through different shifts, including 7am and evening start times.
Requirements
- Travel experience is highly desirable.
- Inpatient pharmacy experience is essential.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using infusion preparation equipment and inpatient medication management systems.
