Additional Information :
The Patient Care Technician takes direction from the registered nurse.
The main functions are to maintains a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas, assists licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education & Experience :
High School graduate or equivalent.
2 years experience required
Qualified candidates must meet one of the following : Previous experience as a nurse aide / residential aide / patient aide with experience in supporting patients' activities of daily living and vital signs. Completion of a nurse aide, multi-skilled tech or patient care tech course(s). Completion of one clinical semester in an LPN / RN program
Certification / Licensure :
Current American Heart Association BLS required.
Welle Training (computer and classroom) within six months of hire.
Certified Nurse's Aide license or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
First Day Instructions :
Sent by client directly to the worker the Friday prior to Monday GEO.
The worker will receive three emails from client
Their manager to review scheduling
HR to review badge instructions and other policies
Education to schedule their orientation classes.
If your worker has not received FDI by 3pm on Friday, alert MSP.

Monday- Virtual GEO
Tuesday-Thursday Classes with education
Friday-Sunday Orientation Shifts
Orientation - Friday before Monday start candidate will get details via email from the Hospital team directly - please have them check junk folder as well usually around 4 : 30 pm. Badge appointment is also emailed to the candidate by the facility
Monday is a virtual day - Teams call starts around 8 : 30 - 9 am.
Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday - classes are scheduled onsite 1-4 hours long in early afternoon and details may be sent after Monday meeting is completed
Fri / Sat / Sun is Orientation shift which will be on the shift hired for and schedule will be made available after Tue / Wed / Thur classes have been completed by the candidate
